Comfortnoise was founded and is led by award-winning, multi-genre composer Ahmet Kenan Bilgiç.
He has built a colorful repertoire across several Netflix series and films, as well as independent projects recognized at major festivals such as Tribeca, Sundance, Karlovy Vary, East End, Maine, Istanbul, Galway, and more...
In 2011, Bilgiç received the Best Music Award at the Istanbul Film Festival for his work on his debut feature film Merry Go Round. Following this recognition, he composed for projects such as Butterflies — winner of the Sundance Best Feature Award — and Leilac — winner of the Tribeca Best Short Award — and also worked on Netflix productions including the record-breaking Who Were We Running From?, among others.
Bilgiç has served as a jury member at prestigious festivals such as the Istanbul Film Festival and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, and spent six years on the board of MSG, Turkey’s music rights organization (PRO).
His ongoing collaborations with artists from various disciplines continue to fuel Comfortnoise’s creative vision — using the power of sound not by rejecting tradition, but by constantly refreshing and innovating it.
In addition to his work as a composer, Bilgiç is also the founding member and frontman of ,GEVENDE, a renowned band pioneering avant-garde progressive world music, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

Comfortnoise harness the power of sound to take audiences on an authentic journey, immersing them in compelling audiovisual experiences. Our promise is to carefully study every element of a visual narrative and work closely with directors to reveal the untold stories of the moment.
